Body Shop Estimator Job at Bentley Truck Services
State Collision is seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager/Estimator to join our growing team of exceptional employees. Candidate must be an experienced auto damage estimator. Experience working with commercial vehicles a huge plus, i.e., tractor trailers, box trucks, buses, vans, forklifts. This is NOT a car shop.
Must be a team player!
Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday with opportunity for more hours.
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE, and hard work is recognized.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver a positive customer experience.
- Record and maintain repair details in body shop records.
- Build and maintain good working relations with insurance adjusters.
- Anticipate and identify customer needs, meeting and exceeding them.
- Determine the feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Work with customers to the highest ethical and professional standards to build long-term profitable relationships.
- Inspect vehicle damage to determine extent of the repairs needed, estimates cost of labor repairs, write automotive collision estimates and provide repair cost estimates to insurance companies.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.
- Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Perform high levels of customer service
- A sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
- Auto Damage Estimating: 2 years (Preferred)
- Pass Drug Screen, Criminal Background Check and MVR
- Must be technically versed in electronic estimating systems
- Knowledge of high-level body shop management experience or ability to learn at fast pace.
