Job Duties/Responsibilities
· Manages safe and efficient moving of boats in and on the dealership property, including hauling, launching, and docking
· Coordinates/maintains the yard storage needs: stands, blocks, covers, etc.
· Coordinates/schedules maintenance on yard trucks, trailers, and forklifts and maintains service records
· Monitors the overall flow of work in the yard and all yard maintenance
· Conducts the safe and efficient moving of boats in and on the dealership property, including hauling, launching, and docking
· Transports boats, trailers, and motors to and from offsite locations including customer locations, boat shows, etc.
· Offloads new boats, trailers, and motors upon delivery
· Ensures the dealership property is maintained as a clean, safe environment
· Ensures that no damage is done to boat during handling
· Ensures all equipment is always in good working condition
Requirements –
· A high school diploma or equivalent
· Boating/trailering experience and prior marine dealership experience helpful
· Professional appearance
· Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven
· Experience operating a Bobcat or other heavy equipment
