Behavioral Health Technician/Maintenance Job at Ebb Tide Treatment Center
Job description
We are an all-male, dual diagnosis treatment program located in West Palm Beach, FL. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for providing guidance, monitoring and support for clients during daily activities and must have a pleasant, and upbeat attitude.

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR SECURITY OFFICERS OR CNAS.
Responsibilities
- Works daily with clients to provide support, encouragement, and guidance
- Documents client information as appropriate
- Assists in emergency situations as directed
- Transports clients to clinical offices, 12-step meetings, appointments, etc.
- Ensures clients attend scheduled activities
- Understands and maintains confidentiality of client information and records
- Recognizes crisis situations and provides appropriate interventions based on training and experience
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year professional experience in mental health/behavioral healthcare field preferred
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
- High School Diploma required
- Knowledge of Kipu EMR
- Valid Driver License with no infractions, marks or points
- Ability to drive a 15-passenger van
- If in recovery, 2 years of continuous sobriety is required
- Professional demeanor and ability to act professionally with clients and staff at all times
- The position requires walking and standing including both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check
