As a Behavior Support Service Coordinator, you will conduct functional behavior assessments and create behavior support plans for the persons we serve in order to support positive behaviors and increase independence. You will train team members on behavior support plans and provide ongoing support by monitoring behavior plan efficacy, making modifications to plans as needed, and providing feedback regarding plan implementation. Your day will be spent across residential programs and GoodLife's Lawrence office based on clients' behavioral support needs.

- Conducting functional behavior assessment to develop evidence-based, best-practice behavior support plans
- Training team members on behavior support plans
- Monitoring efficacy of behavior support plans on an ongoing basis and making modifications to plans as needed
- Evaluating program quality through direct observation, reviewing records, and team meetings
- Ensuring compliance with agency policy and protecting the human rights of persons served
Some qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, behavior analysis, human development, or related field preferred
- One - two years of prior experience of similar scope preferred
- Experience in developing and writing behavior support plans and skill acquisition plans
- Flexibility in assigned working hours and location; generally working Monday-Friday during business hours, but with some flexibility based on client needs
- Ability to redirect maladaptive behaviors while maintaining calm and composed
- Ability to work well independently with strong skills in time management, follow-up, organization and handling several tasks simultaneously
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Google applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
