Title: Behavioral Health Group Lead
Unit: Behavioral Health
Shift: 2nd Shift Day/Evenings,Mix -EOWH

Summary: The Behavioral Health Group Associate participates as a member of the inpatient Adult Behavioral Health treatment team. This member is responsible for facilitating group and milieu activities, providing input to the development of the patient’s treatment plan and participating in the patient’s care on the unit, as assigned. The Behavioral Health Group Associate works with all members of the patient care team to ensure safety and the highest quality of person centered, comprehensive healthcare to all patients.
Qualifications: BLS required. CPI required within 30 days of hire Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or other related field or currently enrolled in educational program to obtain, required. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively within established channels of communication. Previous experience facilitating psych-education groups, task groups, expressive groups and sensory motor groups on a behavioral health unit preferred. Participates in the development of treatment plan goals and implementing interventions to meet treatment specific goals.
