Bethel Christian School is seeking an Art teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creative arts, and be committed to educating and inspiring K-8th-grade students.
Responsibilities
- Pastoring a classroom of students and leading them in their connection with God and others through creative arts.
- Teach art classes to students in grade levels K-8
- Plan and direct end-of-the-year art showcase.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student creativity and growth.
- Provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents to the school and wider community.
- Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff to support the school's mission and goals.
- Attend school events and meetings as required
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
Pay range : $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or experience in art or a related field.
- Experience teaching art at the K-8 level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for art and creativity.
- Ability to work effectively with students of all backgrounds and abilities.
