Honey Moon Sweets Bakery in Tempe, AZ is looking for one bakery delivery driver to join our 18 person strong team. We are located on 606 W Southern Ave # 1. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
We need a professional and courteous driver to represent the company. The job is full time delivering fresh cakes, pastries and desserts to Whole Foods Markets, resorts, hotels, caterers, and restaurants throughout Arizona. The product must be delivered with great care. The driver must be careful and conscientious that the product arrives safely.
Whole Foods will check truck temperature and cleanliness.
Overtime is available seasonally. Subsidized health insurance is available after 60 days.
Most deliveries are throughout The Valley; Monday is a Tucson run and Wednesday is a Sedona run. Wedding cake deliveries are primarily on the weekends. Morning start time is 5 am.
Clean driving record from DMV required. Our company uses E-verify.

Responsibilities*

*Loading, transporting, and delivering items to guests or businesses safe & timely while maintaining a polite and professional manner. *Reviewing orders prior to leaving the shop and upon delivery to ensure that orders are complete, and guest is satisfied and that no product was damaged in transit. *Check load against invoices to ensure product load count matches invoices *Load delivery vehicle in stop order to ensure stops are made in proper route sequence. *Drive safely to protect the quality of the product and make sure temperature of below 40 Degrees is maintained. *Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. *Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. *Keep vehicle organized, clean and alert the office for scheduled vehicle maintenance. *Complies with all health and safety guidelines. Follows Honeymoon Sweets policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene. *Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record. *Picks up empty trays and/or Boards from wedding cakes from customer
