Chelsea Piers Fitness opened a 52,000 SF world-class fitness club in Brooklyn in spring of 2018, adding to its existing landmark facility in Manhattan (NY). These two clubs will be the foundation on which we build a high-end, multi-club fitness business.
Our goal is to create places and environments that support physical, mental and creative fitness. We aim to deliver the future of fitness, incorporating state-of-the art training options, boutique class experiences, open creative spaces, embracing design, cultural engagement and first-rate customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and execute creative activities and organized games for children
- Socially interact with children and engage in developmentally appropriate play
- Communicate clearly with parents, assuring all sign in and sign out procedures are followed exactly
- Be first point of contact for all parents and represent the Chelsea Piers Fitness business in the most positive way
- Ensure the security and safety of the children and childcare room at all times
- Work and collaborate within a team with leadership qualities
Qualifications:
- Experience caring for children ages 3 months 12 years
- Patient, caring and energetic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Classroom or similar experience
- Fully Vaccinated for Covid-19
