REACH Air Medical Services, a Global Medical Response Solution, has an immediate opportunity for an Aircraft Avionics Technician. The ideal Avionics Technician is a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician with solid skills and experience in the overall maintenance, repair, and installation of aircraft electrical, communications and navigation systems. This is a key role to ensure our aircraft transport teams can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
Additionally, the Avionics Technician area of focus will include (but is not limited to):
o Garman 430/530, 500, 650/750
o Airbus Helionix Avionics Suite

REACH Air Medical Services, a Global Medical Response Solution, has an immediate opportunity for an Aircraft Avionics Technician. The ideal Avionics Technician is a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician with solid skills and experience in the overall maintenance, repair, and installation of aircraft electrical, communications and navigation systems. This is a key role to ensure our aircraft transport teams can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
- Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
- Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.
Additionally, the Avionics Technician area of focus will include (but is not limited to):
- Aircraft wiring, electrical trouble shooting, lighting systems, relevant component installation and replacement (LRU)
- Communications systems trouble shooting, adjustment and programming of TDF Air to Ground radios, aircraft intercom systems, etc.
- Autopilot and stabilization systems (HeliSAS and Airbus AFCS preferred)
- Glass Cockpit Navigation systems programming, upgrades and troubleshooting
o Garman 430/530, 500, 650/750
o Airbus Helionix Avionics Suite
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- Federal Aviation Regulations and EMS aviation practices knowledge
- Avionics troubleshooting and electrical repair experience
- Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
- 2 years experience with autopilot and stabilization systems
- 2 years Helicopter experience preferred
- Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145
