Ready to join in? *We are looking for an ATC to join a Primary Care Sports Medicine practice. Candidate will work in conjunction with the physician in a clinic setting to provide the best patient care. Candidate will need to have flexibility to travel to the Orthopedic Building in Chicago three (3) times per week, and the remaining two (2) days will be at the outpatient clinic in Westchester, IL.

Responsibilities:*
- Under physician supervision, evaluates referred patients and designs/implements plan of care based on physician preferences, patient functioning, diagnosis, treatment, self-management and access to health care resources.
- Assist with patient flow in clinic.
- Documents evaluations and plans of care.
- Delivers physical care to patients following medical direction including monitoring of patient response and results during care.
- Instructs patient and/or family members in treatment, activities and home care based on physician preferences.
- Provides preventative education and counseling to patients, families and groups regarding health maintenance, normal body function, injury prevention, strength and conditioning.
- Work with the team to respond and manage epic inbasket, athena buckets, patient calls and emails.
- The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to this position.
- Performs duties as workload dictates.
- Stays abreast of and complies with all state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Travel with Physician as required.

Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; plus a graduate of approved N.A.T.A school.
- Certified Athletic Trainer
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
- Prior experience is a plus, but not required.
