This position requires project and data management skills to address and organize multifunctional projects. This position also provides broad exposure to real-world genomic data and diverse clinical or research problems. The successful candidate is expected to play a key role in project management to manage collaboration studies, lead study activities, as well as coordinating with internal teams for project execution plans, timelines, production alignment, and delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate projects. Ensure timely execution according to project plans and timelines.
- Track project progress, and provide continuous communications/project updates to the internal multiple functions.
- Manages collaborator/customer relationships through efficient communication, excellent problem-solving skills, and on-time project delivery.
- Document and track projects or tasks using systems such as JIRA, Confluence, or other PM-related software.
- Assures compliance with all regulatory requirements and assists with necessary audits of data to ensure data validity.
Requirements
- BS or MS in biostatistics, biological science, or health-related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency in R is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in project management and clinical studies in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, cancer institutes, or CRO companies is preferred.
- Experience and understanding of next-generation sequencing (NGS) or cancer genetics is a plus.
- Solid organizational skills and detailed oriented with an appetite to drive tasks to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals and teams internally and externally with excellent problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office as well as project management software.
- Ability to work well in a rapid-pace startup environment and a matrix operating setting.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
