Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm to 7:30am
$2,000 sign-on bonus to all new hires!
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to analyze, repair, and maintain mechanical conveyance systems of all types and sizes. Ensure the conveyors are running at peak operability for the maximum amount of time between repairs. Be able to develop preventative maintenance measures for all mechanical equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge of engineered diagrams and schematics. The ability to read and interpret diagrams and drawings is a MUST.
- Must have a working knowledge of high-pressure air systems and circuits. Users must maintain, and troubleshoot numerous different types of pneumatic devices and solenoids for maximum operability.
- Electrical Knowledge - Must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair complex and basic AC and DC circuits including but not limited to PC cards and interface devices, relays, time delay circuits and fuses, solenoids, resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ year of facilities engineering experience.
- High school Diploma and equivalent.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
- Trained to work with 460,220,120 VAC and 24-volt DC circuits.
- Knowledge and understanding of motor starting circuits and power distribution circuits.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and evaluate operations based on these schematics.
- Ability to read ladder logic, download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.
- Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as: photoeyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights, and safety switches.
- Align bearings, shafts, and drives.
- Adjust tensions of belts and chains.
- Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and replace them.
- Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
- Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manuals.
- Work with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves.
- Maintain printers.
- Analyze cards and chips and replace them if necessary.
- Troubleshoot network (ethernet) systems.
- Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.
- Ability to set up and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computers or computer and peripheral devices.
- Environment (e.g., office, manufacturing, warehouse).
- Production environment.
- Closely monitored and legally compliant regulations.
- A large percentage of my time performing tedious tasks in varying positions (stooping, standing, kneeling, etc).
- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs unassisted is a MUST.
