Assistant Professor of Communication Job at Coker University
The Coker University Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking qualified applicants for two positions for Assistant Professor of Communication beginning January 2023. These positions, with competitive salary and benefits, are 9-month, renewable, tenure-track faculty positions; a higher rank, based on experience, may be considered. These positions report to the Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences.
Preferred qualifications include a terminal degree in Communication; ABD and Master's degree will be considered. Experience in strategic, organizational, and/or digital-content communication preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include general communication courses, such as public speaking, and additional opportunities for courses in the candidate's area of expertise. The primary responsibilities of the positions include face-to-face teaching assignments at the undergraduate level; opportunities for online (credentialing preferred) and hybrid teaching possible.
