Simply Ride is seeking an Assistant Powersports Purchaser

Job Summary:

Do you know how to get a great deal? Would you enjoy and excel at buying powersports vehicles with someone else’s money? This is the job for you!

You will assist the Purchaser with vehicle acquisition by answering sell your bike leads as well as assisting walk in customers, making sure that we continue to have the largest pre owned inventory in MN. You get paid to shop for and buy Motorcycles and other powersports toys!

You will be responsible for driving a truck and trailer, picking up motorcycles, ATVs and SxS from our warehouse, other dealerships and private parties, moving motorcycles around buildings and in and out of trailers.

This is a great position for someone with previous experience buying and selling powersports that wants flexible hours in a fun industry! OR for someone who finds themselves shopping for powersports vehicles and or motorcycles and loves to buy a good deal!

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

• Respond to customer sell inquires using phone, email and text
• Negotiate purchase price of desired vehicle
• Shop for powersports vehicles on Facebook, Craigslist and other sites

• Drive a truck with a trailer
• Interact with other dealers and private parties
• Safely load motorcycles, ATVs and SxS in, strap down, and unload and out of trailers
• Safely move motorcycles, ATVs and SxS around parking lots, warehouses and showfloors
• Ensure accurate vehicle condition and paperwork completion
• Pay customers for their vehicles with cash or check

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Motorcycle Endorsement
• Motorcycle, ATVs and/or SxS experience and knowledge
• Previous truck and trailer experience
• Perform essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced candidates would have the ability to determine retail pricing of vehicles with little to no guidance from the Purchasing Manager, dealership experience in purchasing and or trade appraisals, and vast knowledge of motorsports.

• LOVE everything motorcycles and powersports
• Be able to work in a sometimes fast-paced retail environment, while staying on task
• Must pass background motor vehicle report for insurance purposes

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Compensation: Hourly wage of $20-$25, with experienced candidates making $26-$30+!
