Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs standard and repetitive assembly on production lines.
  • Operates a variety of shop machinery and hand-tools such as presses, custom tooling, air drivers and torque wrenches etc. to complete production work orders.
  • Participates in lean / 6S activities as required, maintains 6S standards, and assists in implementing improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned including relocation to other stations, positions, and departments within the experience range.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Prior work experience preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to comprehend complex instructions and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations such as adding and subtracting.
  • Ability to perform simple repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
  • Ability to listen and be aware of production floor activity to support a safe and hazard-free working environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours and/or varying shifts as requested, including weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of problem solving and troubleshooting concepts.
  • Ability to use basic assembly hand tools.
  • High attention to detail and ability to check own work as directed by a quality control plan.
