Our busy office in Lititz is looking for a full-time dedicated professional to join our team of premier service professionals helping people through their water and fire catastrophes. The successful candidate can utilize their mechanical or construction work experience to assist their team in the field as a Technician Trainee while responding to emergencies on a daily basis. Steady year round work in the Lancaster County area, frequent overtime (average 45+ total hours per week), no lay offs. Career growth opportunities for qualified individuals.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform initial loss inspection, review customer forms, photo documentation.
• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition, following IICRC standards.
• Set dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers, and other equipment at the work site, ensuring proper setup and removal.
• Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation, utilizing Servpro proprietary software and Xactimate.
• Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc. and perform general demolition after a loss.
• Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
• Participate in our 24 hour on call rotation, responding to emergency losses after hours and on weekends, as dictated by the on call schedule.
• Drive company vehicles, including water trucks and other machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Construction or building experience helpful.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Lancaster County resident - must be local for on call emergencies
• Ability to perform demolition work, including climbing, working in extreme temperatures, heavy lifting and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs or more.
• Satisfactory background check.
