Now Hiring for the 2022-23 School Year - Afterschool Program Staff
Part-time positions Available:
Work afternoons Monday through Friday. No nights, no weekends. Position hours and days follow the school calendar.
Approximately 17 hours/week, 2:00pm until 5:30pm, Monday-Friday Starting pay $18.00/hour
Imagine going to work knowing that what you do each day positively influences the lives of people in your community. Now is your chance, by working at the YMCA after-school program with children in grades K-5. Help implement high quality after-school programming that focuses on social responsibility and health living. Our after-school programs promote physical activity, STEAM activities and time to do homework. The successful candidate will provide supervision while being able to lead activities such as games, sports, crafts and planned STEAM activities. Active engagement with the children in the program is paramount to the success of the entire after-school program. Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting, preferred
- CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training required within the first 30 days of hire. We will provide this training.
