Job Duties:
Makes outbound calls to sell replacement parts and handles incoming service calls, parts requests, sales order entry, warranty claims and return goods from customers.

Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail yo quality leads and sell products and services.

Handles inbound phone calls to convert leads into sales.

Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices, credit terms and prepares sales orders in a timely manner.
Works with the team to maintain customer accounts and assures product literature is current.

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from current and previous customers, ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, aged leads, business directories, Internet Web site and other sources.

Participates in bids, pricing and proposals generated by the business units.
Obtains cost-effective freight rates for quotes and bidding process.

Monitors the production schedule, communicating with the engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and service departments to ensure customer requirements and on-time delivery are met.
Tracks inventory levels to quote accurate lead-times to customers.

Provides advice, solutions, mechanical and technical support to customers and M-B field service technicians via the phone, email and/or going to the customer's location.

Follows Engineering instructions and applies the knowledge to complete the requirements of the support task. Reads and understands weld drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics and then conveys the required information to the end user in a way that is simple to understand to resolve their issues.

Understands costing in the Vantage System. Enters new and modifies existing sales orders.

Reviews field warranty situations with end user and/or dealers and provides cost and time effective solutions to the Department Manager to help resolve customer warranty issues. To include providing necessary replacement parts and or services in situations where needed.
