Advertising Account Manager: REMOTE IN NJ Job at PureRED
PureRED is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated ACCOUNT MANAGER with experience supporting B2C CPG clients across all channels to remotely support clients out of our Princeton, NJ office. We’re seeking a team-oriented person who thrives on cultivating strong, long-lasting client relationships and understands the complexities and rapid pace of the ad agency business. This role is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of the clients’ business, their needs, and relevant business trends impacting their industries. The Account Manager must be able to anticipate needs, be influential without authority, and consistently upsell and cross-sell PureRED’s portfolio of services.
PLEASE NOTE: While this job can be remote, it must be based within a 2-3 hour drive of the Princeton, NJ office. The role may require someone to be onsite 1-2x/month for client or team meetings. Your application will NOT be considered if you do not live within these parameters.
A Day in the Life of:
- Work with clients to uncover business needs and objective
- Collaborate with Account Director to build appropriate strategies
- Manage all client projects/deliverables to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
- Handle all budgeting, and billing as related to accounts
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement within existing channels
- Create and deliver presentations that convey PureRED’s vision and capabilities
- Work cross-functionally across all account, creative, and client teams as well as with other agencies
- Communicate clients’ goals, assignments, briefs, and status updates to internal teams
- Regularly evaluate and refine internal processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness for both agency and client
- Research/stay on top of clients' industry trends/changes as well as monitor competitive landscape; report findings to leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant, equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in ad agency environments, with at least 3+ years in an account executive (AE) or senior account executive (SAE) capacity
- Proven experience building & managing integrated B2C campaigns for demanding CPG national clients, inclusive of traditional and digital (TV, OLV, social, display, audio, OOH, consumer promotions)
- Experience collaborating and managing relationships with external partners, including media agencies
- Strong data gathering, storytelling, and analytical skills
- A growth mindset, a lot of grit, and passion for what you do
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience Consumer Healthcare/OTC verticals
- Familiarity with project management software such as Basecamp, Jira, MS Project
- Familiarity with software such as MS Office, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, WebEx, and other file sharing software
