Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will effectively allocate financial, physical and human resources to ensure that operations are effective and efficient
• You will effectively interprets and acts upon budget reports
• You will complete a cost/benefits analysis on business plans
• You will implement effective cost containment strategies
• You will advance organizational mission
• You will operate across organizational boundaries and recognizes implications of actions and plans
• You will insures Department/Unit provides positive customer service
• You will identify critical changes required to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• You will establish clear Operational Unit goals and hold staff accountable for their responsibilities and performance
• You will comply with professional regulations
• You will make timely, effective decisions
• You will delegate responsibility effectively
• You will motivate staff to be effective team members
• You will foster development of Department/Unit employees to enhance their ability to contribute to meet business goals
• You will hold others accountable for reaching a given standard of performance
• You will appropriately alter supervisory/management style to suit the situation and individuals involved
• Facilitates timely performance reviews
• You will promote effective quality processes to improve quality of the department and hospital
• You will facilitate staff education regarding current quality initiatives
• You will perform all duties of an RN. Make appropriate critical care decisions.
• You will perform intervention based on critical thinking and technical skills assimilated from assessment, reports, and information communicated by other health care providers to achieve optimal outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Masters Degree
