Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Perform A/P functions in accordance with policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Responsible for development, and implementation of system initiatives to reduce cycle time and improve department effectiveness.
• Supervise assigned accounting personnel to ensure accurate and timely matching, proper support, coding, posting and payment of vendor invoices and dealer direct-ship orders.
• Coordinates and resolves differences or errors with vendors and dealers, including reconciliation of vendor statements. Resolve vendor questions in a timely manner.
• Develop and train staff.
• Recommends and implements enhancements that improve productivity, internal control and cost reduction.
• Prepare queries and reports from the A/P system.
• Participate in the month-end closing process including journal entries, financial statement reviews and Corporate reporting requirements.
• Prepare and/or review account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner.
• Understand the relationship of operational and financial systems and develops reports in SAP, Excel, Access and SQL.
• Perform SOX testing as assigned.
• Support internal control reviews and external audit requests.
• Perform other duties and accounting functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• BS / BA in Accounting or Finance
• Master's Degree or CPA strongly preferred, but not required
• 5 - 7 years of related experience, including supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a “big picture” focus
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and self-motivated
• Understanding of US GAAP
• SAP experience preferred
• Requires strong PC skills with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
• Must be able to travel periodically within the US and internationally
