Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Reports to: Cattle Payable Supervisor

Work Site County/ies: Brown and Green Bay

On Bus Route? Yes

Pay: Hourly

Duration/Usual Hours Per Week: Full-Time-

Shift/Work Days: Day Shift

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

• Processes payments for cattle, trucking, and commission.
• Interact with cattle procurement, barn, and kill floor personnel to insure proper payment of cattle.
• Interact with vendors, respond to vendor questions and information requests.
• Problem solving and research to determine proper recording of cattle transactions.
• Work with USDA on reporting of cattle purchases, cattle receipts and cattle payments to insure proper reporting for MPR (Mandatory Price Reporting).
• Assist with balancing cattle cost on weekly and monthly bases and report cost to financial team.
• Assist with creating and maintaining procedure manuals for cattle payable position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Bi-lingual helpful but not required.
• Computer Skills, Proficient data entry (10 Key)

Experience / Qualifications:
Microsoft Office proficient
Computer Skills

Be able to multi-task
Communication skills
Attention to detail
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Accounting Background helpful
