Responsibilities:
Seeking an accountant with excellent to detail, good communication skills, and an appreciation for problem solving. Your continuing mission will be to support and contribute to the accounting team.
- Receiving, processing, & verifying invoices related to accounts payable.
- Processing accounts & incoming payments and credits.
- Processing outgoing payments to venders.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure invoices & payments are accounted for.
- Investigate & correct discrepencies related to accounts payable.
- Processing vendor 1099's during year end process.
- Understanding compliance issues centered around the accounts payable process.
- Other duties that arise during the normal course of business.
Location: Jeffersonville, IN
Pay (range): $15-17/hr
Schedule/Shift Details
- Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Qualifications
- General ledger experience a plus
- Able to work well with others. Must be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Able to learn and adapt quickly. Also, able to receive and learn from constructive criticism
- Able to learn and use software effectively: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft NAV, other software as needed
