RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Accounting Operations Coordinator compiles, researches, reviews, reconciles, and analyzes data in order to prepare commission statements. This information is used to setup commission contracts and make end of month disbursements accordingly.
- Responsible for group and payee setup
- Reconcile all cash activity coming into the bank and entered into HealthComp internal system for specific lines of business
- Auditing commission structure in internal HealthComp system
- Prepares commission disbursements at month end including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, resolving issues and auditing
- Prepare commission reports
- Review and work change notices
- Respond to agent, carrier, or broker email requests as well as internal requests
- 5500 reporting
- Daily use of multiple excel spreadsheets.
- Work with administration to resolve billing issues
- Gather information for carrier and financial audits
- Write queries using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Minimum two (2) year related experience and/or training
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills is a plus
