This is a full-time, direct hire position offering $65-68K + benefits! Must be able to work 100% on-site at this employer's Buffalo, NY office location.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
- Minimum five (5) years of non-profit industry Accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks (not QuickBooks Online) and able to learn other proprietary systems and platforms quickly
- Experience working with grants and related cost allocations
- Must be highly team oriented and offer consistent attention to detail
- Excellent overall communication skills needed to be able to work closely with team members and across other departments
Responsibilities:
- All scheduled and ad hoc Accounting, financial, grant and Board related reporting
- Oversight of fiscal controls and standards
- Monthly reconciliations
- Tax and audit
- Financial statements
- Budgeting and forecasting and analysis
- A/P and A/R oversight
- Payroll and benefits administration and compliancy
- Management and tracking of various insurance coverages
- Vendor management
