Account Manager Job at CMACGM

Summary
Primary sales contact responsible to meeting or exceeding budgeted volumes and contribution for Pacific Northwest covering primarily export accounts.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain customer & trade-lane specific business plan to achieve or exceed weekly production quotas.
Pre-plan & manage sales territories ensuring that weekly in-person sales calls are conducted.
Utilize travel & customer entertainment budget to develop customer relationships & business plan achievement.
Manage qualification of new business opportunities by monthly review of market data to ensure that active customers are known & called on within each sales territory.
Ensure push & pull sales follow up occurs after each customer sales calls detailing the results of your sales coverage.
Prepare & complete required weekly management reports and attend status update calls as requested
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills

Skilled and experienced negotiator
Tolerance of ambiguity
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Self-starter able to work independently
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Computer skills: MS Outlook, Office and Salesforce
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 4 years industry experience
