Assignment: Applied Behavior Analysis - Learning Coach / RBT

IMMEDIATE OPENING for a part-time or full-time ABA Learning Coach (Registered Behavior Technician or willing to be a certified RBT) to work with children and teens with Autism, one-on-one in their homes. Tate Behavioral is a leading provider of ABA services in Western Massachusetts. Tate is seeking experienced ABA therapists to work in homes, schools, and community-based programs with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism and other developmental, cognitive and/or behavioral challenges. RBTs preferred.

Job Summary:

The Learning Coach (LC) implements one-to-one ABA programming and is directly supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinician. All learning coaches will be provided on-the-job training to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience and/or a high school diploma or associates degree with extensive experience preferred
• Specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis and/or Special Education preferred
• Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are strongly encouraged to apply!

Essential Functions:

• The LC’s primary job responsibility is to provide language, leisure, safety, vocational, and social skills support and instruction to the client/s to whom they are assigned.
• The LC will follow all behavioral and instructional procedures as written or described by the Behavior Analyst, Lead Behavioral Instructor, Clinical Resident, or Executive Clinical Director.
• The LC will assist clients in following their daily schedules, completing all activities specified for each session, and will implement all plans and procedures as prescribed. This may include transportation within the community.
• The LC will set up and organize client schedules, data sheets, communication logs, daily lesson plans, or other required paperwork and documentation.
• The LC will collect data thoroughly, accurately, and legibly, as specified for each client.
• The LC will maintain fluency in the SUPPORT (de-escalation and physical management) curriculum and implement techniques as specified in the client’s behavior support plan (if necessary/applicable).
• The LC will treat all clients and family members with respect and dignity.
• The LC will maintain confidentiality for clients and families in accordance with HIPPA regulations.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
