Kelly Services needs an Analytical Technician to join the team at a leading Chemical company located in Croydon, PA.

This role is a long-term contract position with no end date. Pay for this role will be $24/hr - $27/hr depending on background and experience.

This role will train on 1st shift (7am - 3pm), and switch to the night shift (11pm – 7am) after about 6 weeks of training.

This role will conduct QC analysis for a manufacturing location. The role will require wet chemistry, GC, HPLC and IR analyses. Other tasks include weighing, sample prep, lab cleanup, and notebook maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Testing samples with LC, GC, APC, Viscometers (RV, LV), solids testing, titrations and wet chemistry.
• Completes accurate recording of shift events in Logbook; Communicates items in need of follow-up.
• Use electronic tools such as SAP, Email, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Logbook.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Evaluate the validity of data, apply basic statistics, interpret results, and take appropriate action.
• Monitor analytical systems, identify problems, conduct first-line troubleshooting, and escalate as appropriate.

The position requires:

• High school diploma or GED required. AS or BS degree preferred, but candidates with experience as a Chemical Operator or similar role will be considered instead of a degree.
