The Village of Rantoul is hiring for part-time/seasonal Youth Center Aides. The Aide will be responsible for supervising, coordinating activities, and leading children during their stay in the program. The Aide will also be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of the participants as well as creating a safe, fun, and rewarding environment for them. Job Responsibilities

- Supervise campers and lead them in all activities
- Assist with planning and implementation of daily activities
- Provide positive environment for participants
- Ensure safety for participants
- Follow Village of Rantoul policies and procedures
- Help set up and clean up
- Communicate effectively with staff, participants, and parents Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid state of Illinois drivers licenses
- Must be willing to drive a 16 passenger vehicle
- Preferred someone who has experience working with a variety of different children
- Enjoy working with children
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for participants
- Have a flexible schedule
- Dependable
- Reliable
- Able to communicate effectively
- Follow written and verbal directions
- Must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills
