X-RAY TECHNICIAN, URGENT CARE

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a X-Ray Technician committed to delivering the best patient care experience possible. We combine technology with modern care. We have welcoming clinics, and you’ll be working alongside a fun and supportive team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering the best patient care experience possible.

LOCATION:
Montclair Clinic: 1970 Mountain Blvd, Oakland, CA 94611

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Explain procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and answer questions
• Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedures using digital equipment
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience as a X-Ray Technician preferred
• Technical school graduate or combination of education and experience
• Current CRT certificate and current CPR, BLS
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Work as a team with other department heads and staff
• Vaccinated and boosted
