Avesis has an exciting and challenging new opportunity for a Workday HRIS Administrator. In this dynamic role, you'll support the maintenance and ongoing rollout of Workday at Avēsis. We use Workday as our platform for all things HR for our team members: Compensation, Learning, Talent, Recruiting, Time, Absence, and Benefits. The Workday Administrator will be our Technical Lead for day-to-day operations of the Workday platform. This position will have responsibility to recommend and implement business processes, reporting, dashboards, integrations, feeds, and configurations that enable Workday to drive business alignment and maximize organizational and business performance.
  • Serve as technical point of contact for ensuring data integrity maintenance, system modifications, report writing, document maintenance, system audits, solving configuration and integration issues and making recommendations for process changes.
  • Review business procedures/workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify Workday features that may improve efficiency.
  • Perform analysis into root cause of problems and resolves as appropriate.
  • Have responsibility for the administration, configuration, maintenance and support of all Workday systems, including Accounting and Financials, Human Capital Management and Recruiting, and Analytics.
  • Research, analyze, and make recommendations to resolve a wide variety of technical system problems.
  • Work with subject matter experts and process owners within Avesis to develop efficient technology solutions, prioritize requests and provide technical guidance and training.
  • Work with Information Technology and Legal to ensure compliance in all areas and policies.
  • Hold responsibility for the configuration and maintenance of security profiles for all employees.
  • Lead and participate in systems testing and upgrade processes; oversee and/or develop test scenarios; analyze the effectiveness and functionality of new programming to ensure all requirements are met; notify programming staff of testing problems and required updates to programming.
  • Maintain employee user guides and facilitate training of end users as well as documenting and presenting system change requirements
  • Work with appropriate team members to develop functional configuration for new applications or updates/enhancements to existing applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system performance and application issues. Serve as liaison between business units and Workday technical consultants as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with preferred concentration in HRIS, Technology Services, Computer Science, or related discipline, or relative equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of practical Workday Administration experience outlined above, including the support and development of integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder, and Core Connector.
  • Experience with Workday Security Administration is required.
  • Experience in writing documents and executing requirements, design, development, and testing.
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycle activities (i.e., requirements, analysis, design, construction, testing, and deployment) is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and perform against tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
  • Strong self-motivation balanced with a desire to achieve team goals. Experience with iterative and agile software development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of tools such as MS Project and MS Excel
