Water/Wastewater Operator, NH
The Town of Waterville Valley, NH is accepting applications for a motivated Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. Duties will include a range of skilled and semi-skilled duties including, distribution and collection system monitoring, handling of chemicals for treating water, supervised laboratory testing, maintenance and repair of plant equipment, and other tasks as assigned. We are located in the heart of the White Mountains and provide for the resort community.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a post-graduate degree in a related field and a minimum of six months prior working experience in a Water / Wastewater Treatment operation or combined experience and education; NHDES Certification as a Grade I Water Operator / Grade II Distribution and or the ability to obtain the required certification within 1 year of hire. All Certifications must be maintained as a condition of employment. This position boasts a full benefits package including health, dental, NH Retirement enrollment, STD, LTD, Life, FSA, and dependent care programs, 2 weeks vacation, 5 personal days, and paid sick leave, along with some extra fringe benefits of working in a resort town. Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid NH Drivers License. EOE
