Carpet & Tile Mart is a family owned and operated company and is a leader within the flooring industry. We are actively seeking a warehouse manager full time for our BRAND NEW store. You will be responsible for overseeing operations for a store’s warehouse or storage facility to ensure that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed, shipped, and received according to company policy, managing warehouse associates, as well as perform daily warehouse duties.

This is a full-time position which includes evenings and weekends. Starting pay will be based on experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment

· Organize, plan, and perform tasks to ensure good performance for store’s storage and shipment processes

· Train new employees on how to use machinery and conduct proper warehouse procedures

· Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner

· Tag and label merchandise

· Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.

· Prepare and receive all orders for shipment/ receiving into inventory including lifting, cutting, tying, wrapping, boxing, hanging and carrying

· Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items

· Operate adequate merchandise tools (example, forklift, measuring tape, cutting knife, industrial ladders)

· Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs

Desired Qualifications:

· Valid Driver’s License

· Must be able to lift min. 50 lbs

· Forklift Operation Certification would be nice

· Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker

· Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs

· Good organizational and time-management skills

· Great interpersonal and communication skills

· Problem solver and Team player
