OCTOPI - WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6AM-2PM

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for various duties relating to warehousing and inventory of finished products at the Distribution Center. This role will be responsible for completing inventory counts and corrections, case confirmations, cycle counts, and general warehouse duties. The position will assist the DC team by physically moving products within the warehouse and from trailers, as well as picking orders using forklift. This position reports to the Assistant Warehouse Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform inventory counts of finished products, making adjustments and corrections as necessary.
• Complete case confirmations.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Verify staged shipments for accuracy.
• Enter data into software programs including Wave.
• Ensure efficient operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Transfer materials within organization.
• Escalation of shortages in timely fashion.
• Manage product throughout warehouse storage facility, picking orders when necessary, and rotating inventory.
• Load and unload product from trailer.
• Communicate with warehouse department and other related departments to carry out tasks.
• Assist in accurate shipping and receiving of product.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Ability to bend and lift up to 55lbs and push up to 165lbs.
• Flexibility with working hours.

Education and Experience:

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Receiving/warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certified preferred.
