Warehouse Specialist - Order Puller

• 
  Fill orders from stored merchandise in accordance with specifications on pick tickets
• Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and transporting products
• Manage inventory in the warehouse and assist in cycle counts

• Read orders to ascertain product numbers, sizes, and quantities of merchandise
• Obtain merchandise from warehouse shelves/racks and pack per procedure using FIFO (First In First Out) pulling the oldest product first
• Move stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles, by hand or using pallet jacks and forklifts
• Make small order deliveries
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of the incoming or outgoing shipments
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory and proper rotation of stock (FIFO- First In-First Out)
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes
• Abide by safety and sanitation regulations and follow all work procedures
• Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure the equipment is working properly
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Record product, packaging, and other information on specified forms and records
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards and remove defective products and packaging material
• Report issues with equipment, materials, etc. to the supervisor

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• Forklift Certification
• Strong knowledge of GMPs
• Basic Math and Computer Skills
• Ability to lift 55 lbs for some manual unloading of trucks
