WAREHOUSE PERSON Job at Sam's Town Shreveport
Position Description:
Responsible for the maintenance and control of inventory levels, maintaining accurate records of goods received, ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock, verifying quality and quantity of goods received, and for distributing goods according to orders.
• Maintain records and stock levels of goods.
• Organize and maintain cleanliness standards of storerooms, coolers, and freezers.
• Ensure proper rotation of food product to eliminate waste.
• Transport goods, equipment, and supplies to areas throughout property.
• Maneuver, stack, and store goods; average weight 75 pounds.
• Operate hand truck and two-wheel dolly.
Position Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior experience in the same or similar posiiton preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to operate hand drucks and dollies.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
