Warehouse Custodian Job at Dorman Products
Routine custodial service functions within the facility
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Disposal of corrugated cardboard
- Disposal of trash
- Maintaining good housekeeping in and around the aisles assigned
- Variety of other housekeeping/custodial duties as assigned
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Timely and regular attendance
- Participate in department meetings and projects
- Operate within standard operating procedures
- Adhere to all safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good performance and safety records
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in proper manner
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain license
- Ability to work independently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate. The employee is regularly required to reach, push, pull and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
