Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator Job at Vanity Art, LLC.
We are currently seeking a reliable warehouse worker with forklift experience in the Menands area. Experience with clamp trucks is a plus (Will provide training if necessary.) The ideal candidate must have great attendance, a positive attitude, and be able to multitask.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Working with forklift/clamp truck
- Pulling orders (Vanity sets and Sofa sets)
- Helping to unload container trucks carrying heavy products by use of forklift, clamp truck, or by hand
- Preparing outbound shipments by strapping and affixing products to pallets
- Checking the accuracy of outbound shipments
- Helping with inventory/cycle counting
- Maintaining a clean workspace according to standard housekeeping practices
- Helping to box up and palletize free-standing bathtubs with our team
- Consistent team lifting of 30-70lbs
- Use of drill and/or caulking gun
Basic Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- Clamp truck experience a plus (Will provide training if necessary)
Experience:
- 2 years of warehouse experience is preferred
Benefits:
- Eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits after 90 days.
- Eligible for 401k program with match after 90 days.
Shift Schedule:
- 8:30am-5:00pm/Monday-Friday
Pay:
- $16.50 per hour. Potential pay increase after 1 month pending performance evaluation
