Whip Media is seeking a VP, Sales Engineering who is based in the United Kingdom or in Europe. The VP, Sales Engineering will work with the Sales team on sales opportunities, conducting technical demonstrations, pre-sales workshops and define how our products will work as solutions for our prospects and customers. This is an Individual Contributor position; therefore you will not have direct reports. The successful candidate will also work with our product and client delivery teams to create pricing, proposals and contracts for our customers.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with the Sales team to strategize how to sell into prospects and customers
- Present technical presentations to prospects, customers, and company associates
- Present thorough demos, including conference room pilots of Whip Media to prospects and customers
- Recommend service and product solutions to customers, while running the solutions architect role of the sales cycle
- Manage the development and delivery of POCs
- Ensure all new partner deals include clear expectations and deliverables
- Gather requirements and customer feedback for Product Management and Implementation team
- Help manage and supply responses throughout the RFI/RFP process
- Manage and keep the demo environments clean
- Work with the product team, client delivery teams to create proposals and contractual documents for customers
What You Will Bring:
- Deep technical and business knowledge in the Media & Entertainment Industry especially in Content Licensing, Rights, Content Supply Chain and Content Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales support for the the Media & Entertainment industry
- Strong communication skills – both written and in presentation
- Enterprise technical sales experience with a demonstrated understanding of the software procurement process
- Strong technical understanding of Media & Entertainment Industry software and systems
