DESCRIPTION:

• Performing delegated activities to support the operating room team in the care of the surgical patient.
• Under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Core Supervisor, prepare and deliver medical/surgical supplies, instruments and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Maintain inventory and storage of supplies in the core.
• Manage multiple computer applications to assist with sterilization tracking and processes.
• Responsible for operating and troubleshooting power equipment to process instruments (i.e. autoclaves, washer disinfector, ultrasonic cleaners).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• New Union Hires will have 18 months to achieve CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Tech) certification through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. There is a 2-year commitment to the department from the start date.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.18 - $23.58 per hour
