Virtual Health Specialist Job at Spectrum Health
Job Summary
**This person will be expected to work on site in St. Joseph 90% of the time**
In collaboration with leadership from service lines and regional market leaders, is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, supporting, and evaluating virtual health services across the life cycle both within the system and external organizations. Meets goals related to these projects, while ensuring protocols and processes are followed, key metrics are met, properly recorded and reported to leadership.
Essential Functions
- Oversees multi team collaboration for technical and business resources, provider/clinical staff, assigning responsibilities, and coordinating their work for implementing and supporting virtual health services.
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently while managing multiple virtual health services simultaneously while being a strong proactive team player.
- Leveraging in-depth experience in developing interdepartmental relationships, ability to work collaboratively, express strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to manage expectations of senior business leaders.
- Provides insight to support the setting of strategic direction for virtual health within service lines and regional entities.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of standard workflows for virtual health services.
- Provides appropriate education and training for ambulatory and inpatient services to include providers, clinical and clerical staff in virtual health equipment and use case workflow.
- Monitors utilization, fiscal impacts, challenges, and outcomes of virtual health clinical applications appropriate programs expansion, including external support and resources where indicated.
- Manages/consistently monitors all virtual health equipment (including acquisition, distribution, and tracking)
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience health care setting or business equivalent Required
- experience developing, analyzing, delivery and measuring programs and/or projects Preferred
