Victory Church is searching for a visionary and relational team builder to bring greater unity, strength, and care to the NextGen staff, campus locations, and volunteers as they continue to launch locations to advance the Gospel in communities all over Lancaster County.

HISTORY & CURRENT STATUS

Since its early years, the mission of Victory Church has been to help people take a Next Step in their journey of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Victory began in 2000 when Glenn and Linda Eberly took a step of faith and started a church in their own living room. They named it “Victory Church” because they wanted people to experience Victory in their lives, through a relationship with Jesus. As the church grew, it became mobile, meeting in a garage, a fire hall, multiple hotels, and even a local high school. Pastor Curt and Pam Seaburg became the lead pastors of Victory Church in 2006, bringing with them a continued passion for helping people take Next Steps and a dream for helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. Victory finally made a home at the Greenfield campus facility in 2007 with around 200 people and it didn’t take long for the Greenfield facility to become outgrown.

Pastor Curt envisioned what it would be like to have churches in communities where people could know their neighbors and the needs of their community. From that dream, the church’s multi-site vision of One Church, Many Communities was born. In 2011, the second Victory Campus opened in Lititz. Since then, Victory has opened several other campuses around Lancaster County and continues to be driven by their mission and vision.

Today, over 1900 people from all over the county gather at five campuses of Victory Church for life-giving, encouraging times of worship, high engagement of discipleship, and plenty of opportunities to serve and be connected.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Uphold Biblical priorities in life, in the order outlined below:

• 
  A strong and growing personal commitment to Jesus.
• Oversee and organize VSM across all Victory Church locations.
• Develop and oversee implementation of policies throughout all locations and hold team accountable.
• Formulate Kid’s Ministry and Student Ministry facility standards for existing and new locations.
• Work with Kids Director to develop integrated training processes for nursery, preschool, kids, students and special needs ministry leaders and Serve Team members.
• Work closely with ministry leaders at each campus and analyze the effectiveness of programming and adjust as needed.
• Lead and build teams to execute all aspects of kid’s ministry and student ministry for weekend services.
• Recruit, develop and train high-quality leaders for Staff and Serve Team roles.
• Consistent communication with key leaders and parents.
• Develop a healthy community among parents and equip parents for discipleship of their kids and students.
• Oversee all aspects of department administration including: P.O. processing, budget forecasting, purchasing, and departmental account tracking.
• Responsible for staffing: interviewing process, recruitment of new staff, staff training, employee reviews, Serve Team recruitment.
• Help develop and maintain all security standards.
• Track growth for future development.
• Oversee and develop the Sunday experience for all kids and students.
• Oversee and develop a Worship experience for all students.
• Oversee special event planning
• Oversee all kid and student aspects of new campus development.
• Oversee quality of services and function at all campuses.
• Function as the liaison for the department to the Strategic Leadership Team.
• Fulfill pastoral duties including counseling, baptism, communion, hospital visitation, and general pastoral care.
• Lead department meetings and empower staff to fulfill their unique roles
• Oversee and develop all internal and external communication that represents the Victory Kids and Victory Students department.
• Maintain strong communication and relationship with the Strategic Leadership Team and Direct Report to ensure the vision of the church is implemented in all aspects of family ministry.

Full-Time Position: NextGen Director

Position Summary:

To provide leadership, vision, and direction that creates a life-giving atmosphere of vibrant and enticing discipleship and evangelism for the kids, students, parents, and the NextGen team of Victory Church. The NextGen Director will manage the church-wide direction of Victory Kids and Victory Student Ministry across all campuses. This oversight also includes direct responsibility over Young Adults and the development of family groups in the Marriage Hub.
