Chathams Small Animal Hospital is a four Doctor practice in North Chatham, NY looking to add an enthusiastic team player to our practice. Our friendly client centered practice is looking fo a full-time position. We are a fast paced clinic, with a growing clientele. We aspire to treat all our clients pets as our own. Duties include but not limited to:
- Successfully restrain animals
- Surgical monitoring, Dental care, being knowledgeable about flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, phlebotomy skills, nail trims, placing catheters, etc.
- Complete clinical laboratory and radiology services.
- Working/having knowledge about controlled drugs and working with anesthesia (only if NYS LVT license is valid).
- Give personal attention to each pet and family
Qualifications and Requirements:
Veterinary Assistant Requirements: 1 year experience
Licensed Veterinary Technician Requirements-
- Associate degree in veterinary technology
- State License must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
