Trimming Technician 1- All Shifts Job at Hampel Corp.
Position Summary
Ensure consistent up time on all trimming equipment. Work with operators to ensure we are producing good quality parts on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain proficiency and expertise in the area of automated trimming processes with Trim Tech 2’s direction by:
o Troubleshooting CNC and robotic trimming equipment and processes.
o Making offset adjustments on CNC and robotic trimming equipment.
o Seeking out opportunities for training as available.
- Correctly use inventory control system to move product between locations.
- Minimize unplanned down time of trimming equipment associated with trimming parameters.
- Conduct set-up of trimming equipment with direction of Trim Tech 2.
- Break relief for operators, as assigned by Utility.
- Assist In training, as necessary, with operators.
- Work with operators to ensure timely production of high-quality parts.
- Demonstrate commitment to Hampel and team.
- Treat all individuals with respect.
- Committed to the customer’s needs.
- Promote lean initiatives and lean thinking.
- Embrace change and be a change agent as necessary.
- Back up Trim Tech. 2 in an absence.
Marginal Job Functions
- All other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Level of Education/Training Required
- High School Degree or GED
Minimum Experience Required
- 1 – 2 years of CNC/robot or machine related experience.
- Previous CNC/robot classes/training and relevant experience working with CNC’s is highly desirable.
License or Certificate Required
- Forklift certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
