ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Advanced, experienced Tree Trimmer A position, where one performs the duties of a Trimmer C (see below) as well as lead the daily production teams. They are expected to lead by example with how they perform tree work as well as represent our company to our clients, property owners, and other team members. They are to understand and follow individual client expectations and government regulations. They are responsible for accurate documentation and record keeping. They are responsible for training the Trimmer B in the area of documentation and record keeping.

• A Tree Trimmer C learns a higher level of tree felling techniques, climbing, pruning, herbicide application, and mowing techniques along with introduction to advanced vegetation management. At this position, one gains a basic understanding of the tree work performed and the equipment used.

• We have steady, year-round career opportunities serving our utility clients throughout the Midwest (MI, IN, OH) and Southeast (WV, VA) regions of the U.S.

• Learn how to safely climb a tree and operate heavy equipment. We own some of the most high-mechanized equipment in the industry and we want to teach you how to operate this cool equipment!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable transportation; authorization to work for any employer in U.S.; be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of tree felling / tree climbing experience
• For those interested in joining one of our traveling teams, you must be available for overnight travel up to 5 days per week.
• Ability to maintain our policy of a professional work environment.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screens including urinalysis, motor vehicle record, DOT physical & lift test, and criminal background.
