- Associate’s degree in Geographic Information System/Science (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; or high school diploma with at least five years of experience in K-12 student transportation, public transit, supply chain and logistics management, or trucking routing and planning; or comparable experience in a related field. Experience in K-12 student transportation is highly desired. A valid South Carolina driver’s license is required. A current commercial driver’s license (CDL) and school bus driving experience is preferred. Candidates lacking a CDL must be willing to earn a CDL. The candidate must be willing to operate a school bus.
- Copy of official transcripts verifying degree must be uploaded. Original official transcripts required within 2 weeks of hire date.
- Negative TB test results under 1 year old. BCSD strongly encourages all applicants to upload their TB test results. If the applicant has not completed the test, he/she will be required to upload a word document acknowledging that the results will be uploaded as soon as the test is completed. Please Note: A delay in submitting TB test results will postpone the onboarding process. (If selected for a position)
