Local Kitchens is hiring Training and Food Quality Associates to work in our multi-brand delivery and pickup kitchens throughout the Bay Area. Your role is to train staff on new brand launches, train new staff, and retrain existing staff to ensure quality. You will also help create training materials and measure training effectiveness. You will conduct food quality audits on a weekly basis to ensure our teams are correctly executing our partners' cuisine to the highest standard.

This role reports directly to our Culinary Partner Leads and Head of Culinary. We are a fast-growing company with a \no job beneath us\ attitude, so be prepared to fill in on the line on occasion! We are building the greatest kitchen teams the world has ever seen - you will train them.

Responsibilities:

• Train staff on new brands, retrain staff, and train new staff
• Launch brands in existing and new locations
• Create training materials
• Work with Head of Culinary and Culinary Partner Leads to identify areas of improvement for Kitchen Team Members and teams
• Continuous auditing of kitchens to uphold the highest standards of food quality
• Travel within the Bay Area from kitchen to kitchen

Requirements:

• Experience as a line cook or sous chef
• Experience training line cooks, chefs, and/or managers
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Google) to create training materials
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver license and vehicle to use on the job
• Ability to adapt and follow instructions
• Ability to interact productively with team members
