Utility Trailer Sales of Kansas City is a family-owned and operated business. We are always looking for ways to expand and want quality people who want to grow with us. We have 3 locations in the Kansas City metropolitan area and one in Minnesota. We have added 3 of these facilities in the last 5 years and looking to expand again. We have a long history in the Kansas City area and are always looking for ways to continue to make us the leader in the Trailer Repair Industry.
Utility Trailer Sales of Kansas City is looking for a trailer mechanic who wants a rewarding career in the transportation industry in the Kansas City area. We are currently seeking Trailer Technicians with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a fleet shop or Dealership. We open at 7:00 am and close at 5 pm Monday through Friday. We have several openings for techs of different skill levels. Skill level positions available range from DOT / Pm Tech to full out rollover Wreck Techs.
Wreck Techs will be responsible for completed repairs in a timely fashion on Side Panels, Bottom Rails, Top Rails, Roofs, Side Post, Door Post, Buck plates, etc.
Dot/ Pm Techs will be responsible for quality completed repairs on Air Brakes, ABS, Cam Bushings, Roll-up doors, Swing doors, Suspension Alignments, Shocks, Dolly Legs, and Bracing, Lights and Electrical wiring, etc..
Job Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Perform accurate and complete vehicle inspections.
  • Perform air brake and wheel-end repairs.
  • Perform floor, roof, door, and side panel repairs.
  • Perform ABS diagnostics and repairs.
  • Perform accident damage repairs.
  • Perform electrical and air diagnostics and repairs.
