Tool Crib Attendant Job at Buckeye Fire & Equipment Co
We are seeking a Tool Crib Attendant to join our growing team! The Tool Crib Attendant supports the production shop with tooling, including consumables and MRO supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Counting materials, equipment, and supplies in stock.
- Maintain Tool Crib organization and cycle count inventory as instructed.
- Uses inventory software to keep track of orders, returns, and supplies. Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records on inventory reports.
- Manages time efficiently to meet daily Tool crib assignments.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all plant safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Knowledge of basic math and analytical skills required.
- High school Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
- Ability to work self-sufficiently.
- Knowledge of Tool Crib and related functions preferred.
- Physical Requirements include lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling on a daily basis.
