• We have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineering Manager to join our team at our campus in Andover, MA.
• In this exciting role, the Test Engineering Manager will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of grid-scale electrochemical energy storage systems.
• The Manager will oversee the test process through development of processes and procedures which facilitate rigorous test execution and documentation.
• The Manager will act as a mentor and coach to support the career development of the technical staff on the test team.
• The Manager will develop, implement and status the budget, plan and schedule for the test team.
• The Manager will act as the technical leader of the test team and primary point of contact in communicating critical technical data throughout the flow battery program.

The Manager will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the test infrastructure.

• The Manager will work with scientists and engineers of various disciplines, such as chemical, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering.

The Locale: Andover Massachusetts is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Andover is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Salem, New Hampshire. Andover is within reach of New Hampshire’s White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH which lie about 45 minutes to the east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants. Andover and the region share an impressive past from the early days after the pilgrims arrived in Plymouth to the revolutionary war. Where can you get to from Andover? Andover is about 90 minutes from Cape Cod. Boston is about 30 minutes to the south without traffic. New York City is about 4.5 hours away from Andover. Waterville Valley and other major ski resorts of New Hampshire and Vermont are about 2 to 3 hours to the north. It should be noted that Andover, Massachusetts is approximately 25 miles north of the Boston metropolitan area and offers better access to a wide range of substantially more affordable regions in the area to live. Those regions include Northeastern and North Central Massachusetts, and Southern, New Hampshire.

Basic Qualifications:

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
• The ability to create and maintain a positive work environment where our employees can flourish and innovate is essential for this role.
• Strong leadership skills to include the ability to inspire and effectively motivate subordinate personnel across various levels is required.
• The ability to collaborate and resolve organizational and/or personnel issues is required.

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related technical discipline, with 12 years or more of professional experience; or 10 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree in a technical field; or 7 years of professional experience with a related PhD.
• At least 5 years of product development experience in a related field is required.
• Demonstrated experience in a related technical field is required.
• The ability to communicate effectively to an audience of diverse and varied technical backgrounds is required.
• The ability to cross the boundaries of multiple technical disciplines is required.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
